  • Note that only a single Sun Shard or Moon Shard are available in each XD save file and that the Hoenn titles need working batteries to make day and night cycle.

  • Hitmonchan can be captured in Pokémon XD, received as a gift in either Kanto title, or evolved from a Tyrogue by reaching Level 20 with a higher defense stat than an attack stat.
  • Hitmontop can be captured in Pokémon Colosseum or evolved from a Tyrogue by reaching Level 20 with equal attack and defense stats.
  • Note that Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan cannot both be received in one Kanto playthrough. Only one may be selected as a gift on each save file.

Miltank [#241]

  • Miltank can be captured in Pokémon Emerald or Pokémon Colosseum.

Raikou [#243]

  • Raikou can be captured in both Kanto remakes and Pokémon Colosseum. Each Kanto remake save file can have one roaming Johto dog. Raikou will be the roamer if the chosen starter was Squirtle. Please note that if you make Raikou faint, you will no longer be able to encounter it.

Entei [#244]

  • Entei can be captured in both Kanto remakes and Pokémon Colosseum. Each Kanto remake save file can have one roaming Johto dog. Entei will be the roamer if the chosen starter was Bulbasaur. Please note that if you make Entei faint, you will no longer be able to encounter it.

Suicune [#245]

  • Suicune can be captured in both Kanto remakes and Pokémon Colosseum. Each Kanto remake save file can have one roaming Johto dog. Suicune will be the roamer if the chosen starter was Charmander. Please note that if you make Suicune faint, you will no longer be able to encounter it.

Larvitar Family [#246, 247, 248]

  • Larvitar can be captured in both Kanto remakes.
  • Pupitar can be evolved by by reaching Level 30.
  • Tyranitar can be captured in either Pokémon Colosseum or Pokémon XD. It may also be evolved by reaching Level 55.

Lugia [#249]

  • Lugia can only be captured in Pokémon XD.

Ho-oh [#250]

  • Ho-oh can only be received in Pokémon Colosseum after purifying every shadow Pokémon and completing the 100-trainer challenge in Battle Mode using a story mode team.

Celebi [#251]

  • Celebi can be received by Japanese editions of generation three Game Boy Advance titles from a copy of the Japanese Pokémon Colosseum bonus disc. The player must first purify every shadow Pokémon on the main game disc and have that save file present on an inserted memory card while the bonus disc is running. A total of 49 different Celebi can be received (one to the Colosseum game and 48 to unique Game Boy Advance save files).
